Worship Computer Projector Freeware



WELCOME. This is the BeamIt2 home page. This freeware (yes trust your eyes it is not a shareware it is free) enables you to use your computer projector for worship and praise. It is very easy. Just take your word song sheets and beam it at the wall. You can also choose background images and display them with the songs.

Now Available Version 2.3 with Bible



Are you one of those BeamIt2 users, who had a bible module on your wishlist. Then I have good news for you. Now you able to project "good news" using BeamIt2. BeamIt2's bible module will have the possibility to integrate different bible versions. You will be able to look up verses by their address, by a search phrase of even by using regular expressions. The handling smoothly integrates into the folw of using BeamIt2. Those who know BeamIt2 will be able to use it intuitively and not much learning is involved.

The quickstart now has a short subsection on how to use the bible module. Since the bible text make relativly big files, I will provide Installers for single bible version.

English Quickstart Tutorial Available



Amazingly enough the - praise the Lord - our schedule allowed to finsh the translation of the quickstart tutorial as announced. The hard worg finally has a result ;-) It is available as PDF (see on the right) from the download page.

We are using BeamIt2 since almost a year now. It replaced our old overhead projector and those clumsy transparencies. When we were looking for a worship computer projector freeware we first did not find the appropriate software. Then we got BeamIt2. What we liked about BeamIt2 from the very beginnig is:

  • It is verry easy to use the lyrics as we had them in Word and RTF documents
  • It is realy easy to use.
  • You can use it with and without backgrounds
  • It is just one klick to get the canvas all black
  • When you change a song or from i.e. the chorous to the bridge the fading transition is nice. The same is true for the background fading. This supports worship without being flashy.
  • There are verry handy possiblities to search for a song. This supports a verry spontanous style of worship. Looking up a song you were not prepared for takes only a few seconds.

BeamIt2 has proved to be very reliable so far. Actually it is fun to use it. And since you have a lot of freedom (i.e. how to use backgrounds) the person who uses it can contribute with her creativity to the worship. It is a great tool helping us to worship our lord an saviour Jesus Christ.
